bias up the KT88s towards full class A (as far as your PS goes), and take a listen: you don't really have to mod anything to start. not unbalanced: take a look at the feedback loop for the longrun.

Zarni said it sounded good, and I think the same: it may not have enough power, but it is good.

change to triode, and you are ready to go home.

parallel Set is not really that bad either. There is a lot of majic there:
maybe just not the last ounce.
