Open Minds win the day. This is stuff we knew about in the 1980s.
How can anyone be serious about audio and use a standard banana plug !!
No mass, no contact area, poor energy transfer...designed for TEST instruments, not audio. Why, its a hand-me-down from other disciplines, a non-audio connector.
Put a 105 piece orchestra playing fff through such a connection??
Two questions occur to me:
Are we in the dark ages in 2008????
Is this the dumbing-down of America ??
On a good system, a standard banana plug is totally audible..... as a music-destroyer.
