A 45 will give you about 2 watts running single ended, and an EL84 about 5. I'd be very confident that your speakers are sensitive enough to work well on this kind of power (97db for 5 watts, 100 for 2 watts). These numbers can vary a bit, especially if you have a tiny listening room, but having a little extra power is handy.
