I think there is a common confusion here again between 'efficiency' and 'sensitivity'. These are different terms which are not identical/ interchangeable. I believe the correct term for what is being talked about here is actually 'sensitivity', and not 'efficiency'. Differing Loudspeakers of identical sensitivity rating can have have widely varying 'efficiencies', as the term 'efficiency' relates more specifically to the impedance/load characteristics of the loudspeaker, and thus what sort of drive demands it places on the amplifier. Right?
