I have considered the Great Plains Audio 604 15 inch duplex, tho have heard little discussion about the quality of *musical* reproduction when using the GPA crossover... I am no speaker designer and would need a suitable crossover schema... and I would need to have some idea as to how it presents music, beyond lots o' bass, lots o' treble (that is not directed at you!)... How about tonality, texture, nuance, scale, expression, dynamic swings, overall balance, and an ability to connect a person with music emotionally (yeah, I know, we all do that differently)?

I am also interested in how their 212-8A drivers and matching crossover present music; the peak at 13k or so scares me a little...
