And my point was that NO high efficiency speaker will sound good, partnered with 98% of the SET amps out there. You start with a good amp, of the 2% ilk, and all else follows.

93 dB speakers will hide the amp problem, some, along with hiding the music.

I am not real familiar with the many MTM type configurations, sorry.

I NEVER posted on a "full range single driver", (because, I do not believe such a thing exists). I was referring to higher efficiency speakers systems in general.

I believe the biggest speaker bargain today is a newest Great Plains Audio 604 15 inch duplex, this has bass, treble, and IS A SINGLE POINT SOURCE, with about 98 dB efficiency. Put it in about a 9.5 cubic foot MLTL.
