I have very sensitive ears to harmonics. Most amps and speakers sound just 'dirty' to me. I pretty sure a super high dollar full range driver would likely make me sick. Some vintage speakers having a serious following even in best cabs do not get it either (no names here- no flamers either).

I also suspect 93dB is the limit. Have you ever heard a MTM design you can live with? I need two midbass with good bass response to get that nominal 89-90dB up 3dB. Better tweeters will achieve 93dB.

BTW- my ears are well over 50 years old. Still very sensitive and an audio frequency generator is loud and clear above 16kHz. I still hear full range here.
