The Loktal's are even more likely to be made with the early T plates. There is also the 14N7 and of the 6SN7GT guts that cost an arm an a leg when done with octal bases...:) Depends on how much gain you need, I helped a friend build a JE 2A3 and it won't need much gain.

Fortunately if you rigged the 6SL7 sections right you'll be able to plug in tubes like the 6DN7 and run the beefy section as a cathode follower with that superb 24 mu section as the votlage amp. Check out the data sheet and see if it'll work.
