Sun Audio 2A3 to 45 SET

Has anyone tried modified the Sun Audio 2A3 to use 45 tubes? I understand from the seller this can be done and the 45 tube set up price ls lower than the 2A3 configuration. But how is the sonic performance for high, mid and low frequencies? I listen mainly to String music.
