As you say - 845 push pull is possible. I would regret going from SET to PP. I don't know what wattage I need yet - I suspect nearer to 20w than 100w. I have a smallish room and I don't listen loud.

I build nearly all my stuff, but I'd consider a ready built output stage at 800v to save me the worry.
