where do see that they are low Zin? I don't like the transformer idea.

It is a step down transformer and if I remember my formulas correctly to get from 10K to 150 with a transformer you need to step down the voltage by a factor of about 8.

Unless you have a very high output from the preamp you won't end up with much signal.

Besides, I would think the Zin of this device in the pass band would be very high and overall Zin would depend on the Zin of what it is hooked up to assuming it is an RC filter.
