I have a pair of Audionote Kagekis and love them. I know that, even at this price, the manufacturer has to go with tubes that can be readily supplied. But, the sound can be substantially changed, and in my opinion improved, by substituting tubes. I run Tungsol roundplates for the 6sn7s, and EML meshplates for the 2a3s (this is an amp that is gentle enough on the EMLs so the have, so far, lasted for more than two years).
