That is very interesting, paralleling a lot of tubes. I run 12B4s in a linestage. Out of eight tubes I've bought, I can only find one that is not noisy. These tubes seem to be all over the map, each with a unique noise signature, and each sounding a little different. Is this an issue with your amp? I would hate to have to "match" two, much less five per channel, 12B4s.
