Jeez, you JUST DON'T GET IT. The THREE most important things about a HI-FI SETUP are TROUT FISHING, COLONIC IRRIGATION, PULLING THE WINGS OFF FLIES and AN ALMOST FANATICAL DEVOTION TO FINE SOLDERING DETAIL. And, of course, nice red uniforms.

We are RAPIDLY approaching a moment of TRUTH both for ourselves as human beings and for the LIFE of our HOBBY. Now, truth is not always a PLEASANT thing. But it is necessary now to make A CHOICE, to choose between two admittedly regrettable, but nevertheless *DISTINGUISHABLE*, postwar environments: one where you got twenty million people using dual VOL pots and the other where you got a HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION people using dual VOL Pots.

BUT It's INCREDIBLY OBVIOUS, isn't it? A FOREIGN SUBSTANCE is introduced into our precious bodily fluids WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE of the individual. Certainly without any choice. That's the way your hard-core HIFI RETAILER works. AFTER THE DEMONSTRATION a profound sense of fatigue... a feeling of emptiness follows.... Loss of ESSENCE.

UND SO A SACRIFICE is required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious... service building LISTENING ROOMS along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

AND FOR POWER SUPPLIES ..... nuclear reactors could... I'm sorry....... nuclear reactors could provide POWER almost INDEFINITELY............
