The top picture is my PP 47. It uses a 417A input/driver and the phase splitter is via nickel autoformers from Electraprint. There are no electrolytics in the PSU (mundorf and ASC Oil caps). Bud Purvine made the output transformers for me and the chokes and PT are from Heyboer. Take a look at Ralph Power's IT Coupled PP 45 and that is what got me started on this amp. The bottom photo is my SE amp. It uses a KC1 input, UX112A as driver and the output can be either a 45, VT-52 or 183 (my favorite). No electrolytics in the PSU. The output tubes are AC heated. Its nice.
