A well designed SET will have that effect on the listener.

Larry has done an exceptional job on the Monoco. If memory serves me, the Monoco is 3 stage design using 6sn7>47>845 with choke loading on the driver. He also did a bang up job with the decoupling of each of sections with independent power supplies. Nice Job!
