This was my Don 45. He used James output transformers on mine. A now fav of his for the 45. Now Steve is the proud owner and has had it modded with an input tube so its a bit more friendly with all source components. I had issue with low ouput cheaper stuff (dvd players).
I will shortly be getting my Cyrus Brenneman Cavalier Plus I ordered several years ago. No fault of Cy, Bruce kinda adopted it for a while to use in shows and such. It was OK by me as I wanted to play around with some other stuff too. Just spoke with Bruce and Cy and will be awaiting my toys. I will be able to do a comparison of Don's and Cy's stuff then. I admit I dont know near as much as many DIY folk out there and want to learn the trade a bit soon.
