Yesterday, I listened to SuperTNT new product SuperTNT 845W, Very honoured that I'm the one of the four individuals in the world's first to hear its voice. For new product 845W,I'm most concerned about two issues, one issue is the dissipation power and the other one would be the voice.
SuperTNT technology staff test 845W power on the scene. There is some tubes very well, which dissipation power can near 100W.All we know that the graphite anode 845 generally announce that the rated dissipation power only 75W.In most cases, the anode will be reddish when the dissipation power is over 85W.And 845 W seems to achieve their design requirements. As for the voices of 845 W, the difference between the M 845 and 845 B was obvious once tubes were put on the amplifier:The voice of the 845w is opening and balance, and has many details. Relatively,845M lacks many details. The bass of the 845B is nice, but the treble is far worse than 845W. In treble department,845W is similar with 845C, while the media and bass will be a little better and much balance. Of course, the most important difference is that 845C is an unqualified 845 from the rated dissipation power. Because its real dissipation power is about 60W,and its stability and life-time will be reduced greatly if enforced swapped with ordinary 845,
Viewed from the objective index ,845W and 845W are the unique two of the qualified production metal anode 845.(KR845 the filament not the same, can't make a direct comparison).but obviously,845W has a much better voice..
Please forgive that the photo isn't enough clear for it was taken by mobile phone.
