Try a Fertin 20ex in open-baffle (100db-8-16ohm- qts:0.5 fs:27hz)

field coil -fullrange in open-baffle. With a 2A3 the bass is good.

You can also considere the emspeaker Lb12ex field coil.

One driver, one amp et voilà
