I wouldn't be in a hurry to can your cj gear as the PV10 and the mv55 are both very nice pieces..I would upgrade the caps to some good paper in oil like vitaman Qs or k40s or Jensen copper foil in oils and then put better filter caps in and also take out the metal film resistors and put in carbon films and mills wirewounds and also hex fred diodes..You will be suprised on how well the amp/preamp combo you have will perfrom.
