Gang,
My first SET was hand built 300B with nos transformers in 1988. This was kinda of what we called Cardinal v1. This was a 5693, 5AR4 and 300B. The buyer was a clock maker who used it in the shop and had his fischer tuner attached to it. Basic 8W amplifier running 70ma/375V on the self biased 300B. We figured from his records that he ran the first set of 1960's WE 300b in the like 21,000 hours before I gave him the next pair.
I have the first new production 300B tubes from the first run. I have about 9000 hours on them but one did get beat up in shipping ounce so they are in the closet.
Most users of the Cardinal have reached 10,000 hours or more on a set of WE300B's.
As for other types I really have no data on them.
Thanks
Gordon
