early Dared VP-845 amp vs. current VP-845 offering ?

I am considering trading stuff or $$$ toward the early version, with the 6L6G driver tube. I know the newer offering changes to 6SN7 driver.
What about other changes, like power supply or opt tranny quality ? I have heard the early version and consider it a sweet sound, with surprising bass control. I would appreciate any insights and your opinions on early vs. later, early version upgrades, etc. Thank You...
