Very pertinent infos here, especially with 6SN7's positions within the AQ1006-845 power amps.
I knew that the first stage ought to be critical for noise and quality.
You seems to grade them 1 st stage, then buffer and last for the voltage regulator.
My questionning was a bit more general, as i was thinking at first to buy new tubes, tested for low noise and microphonics at TUBE-DEPOT, that way i think i would on a good start. I would start with the tung-sol's.
There's always the NOS, but without testing them properly, it's like taking a chance, it might not be as good a some russian tubes.
Any experiences with those russian tubes made by reflector?
