...would bug me, too, but it seems everyone is looking to buy the most they can at the least they can. Would you pass on following a lead on a screaming deal on a Ducati if you thought you might have found one? Personally, I wouldn't have inquired with a low-ball and I wouldn't have had more than a passing interest without much more discussion about what I was considering buying. But not everyone works like I do.
Fortunately, you are now in the enviable postion of having both a Ducati and a Fi X! ; )
