Because I mentioned that I might have to sell something to raise funds, I had people trying to get a deal (or in my opinion take advantage of someone's misfortune) sort of like reading the obituaries to find houses or apartments in NYC...In my original post I was considering selling my Fi and replacing it with a Paramour because I wanted to raise funds for another purchase (Motorcycle) and asked for opinions on the comparison of the SET amps. I was given some good feedback on the asylum, but I was inundated with offers to purchase my Fi, when I mentioned if I was going to sell it would be at its value, of course those people didn't respond after that statement, which implied to me that If I was to sell it cheap they would have been interested. I was offended.
If I did need the money to feed my family or pay the mortgage, I might have had to take the loss, luckily I'm not in that position and if I choose to sell it I can wait for a fair price.
That was my point,,,,
I guess it was off topic of SET and I apologize to all the inmates that I may have offended by making this post.
But as I mentioned I found out my Fi is a rare amp, it sounds great, Its flexable (either a 45 or 2a3). So I bought my Ducati with other funds.
