Hi,

I have a double DC Darling - the driver DC coupled to the 1626, two 1626 paraleled per side.
It sounds like a 2A3 amp. The 8532 driver complements the 1626 very well, top end is open, bass is very articulate. We liked Kyle's Darling amp so well, we built 4 of them... ;). 3 of the 4 were first DIY amp projects for 3 fledgeling DIY-ers.
We heard a range of DIY amps, and the double DC Darling won everyone over. After hearing them there was no question what we'll build. ;

My favorite amp ever; lot to tweak; making the input choke input + half wave rectification - nice touch.
