...getting the Hal-O 60 to stay on the Shuguang 2A3C. But it has stayed on continuously for the past 2 months without any further adjustment. It's partly a matter of finding the most stable position, and partly (I suspect) that the pads gradually deform in a way that prevents them rolling alon the surface of the tube, which is how the ring slips off initially.
