I have been using the Solista for 2 years now and won't part with it, though my wife hates it. I agree , most un tube like drive, speed, dynamics and base control. I use it on my Acoustic Zen Adagios, only 89db, but it really controls the speakers. It actually seems to have better control than the Karan K180 I keep for hot weather use, and as thew name suggests, this is 180 watts.
A word of warning, the Solista runs REALLY HOT
