Hi,

It's easier to make amp with NOS 211 than NOS 845 ( hard to find today) ; 845 is a better tube for audio because of the lower plate resistance, but it's hard to drive . A few years ago i made 211 amp with a big OPT only 5000 ohms load and it worked fine, i used the same T with 845 and yes i obtained more power but it depends on the driver . I have RCA and United NOS 845, better sound vs chinese tubes ( much better with United) but i don't remenber a big difference between NOS 211/VT4C ( GE, RCA, Amperex) and chinese 211.
