They certainly sound great in a 2A3 amp. I've been planning to try them in a local friend's A-08 but haven't had the chance yet.

Reportedly, the common Sovtek 2A3 also sounds great in 45-optimized circuits. Note that doing this doesn't give significantly more power than a 45, and the PT must be able to supply a greater filament draw (the Yam is known to be OK with this.)
