Dear Chris,

The pot is 100K, you have two choices essentially,

1.) Change the pot to a high quality resistor such as a tant, it should be a fairly simple bypass operation to do and should sound better if you choose a decent resistor.

2.) Buy another pot or two to replace the ones in the unit, they are still made. It is a mono Ko-On, I don't remember the type, but they only do a couple, so it should be easy to work out, it may even say the type on the back.

Using contact cleaner does not work over time and actually makes the problem worse, in addition it does not sound any good.
