Hi , i have been working on a plan ( huge help from the master handbook of acoustics ) to build 2 panel absorbers ( membrane based bass traps ) tuned to 50hz in my front corners behind the speakers. I already own quite a few Real traps mondo traps placed in 10 of my 12 corners and only have a problem left at 50 hertz. I only have a few small questions. 1 , is there any benefit to using 705 instead of using 703 behind the plywood and 2, is more then 1 or 1 and a half inches to use behind the plywood? like using the whole 2 inch panel. I know to seal it air tight and space the fiberglass around a quarter of a inch away from the plywood , im just curious if i have to use lower density fiberglass like 703 stated in the book. Thanks again.
