Okay, so I had a productive weekend - finished my first reflection point panels. Since this room responds well to bass trapping, I decided to build these to act as both bass traps and first reflection absorbers.
Each frame is 36" wide and 90" tall. Inside is 4" thick 705FRK with the FRK facing the wall. Panels are spaced out from the wall 2". Needless to say these do a good job of absorbing anything that hits them.
Yeah, I know... the curtains are non-optimal. I actually have them on both walls for symmetry, but there is only a window behind one of 'em.
These puppies really helped focus the soundstage!
