Behringer ECM8000 connection to PC.

Hello everyone,

I have a Behringer ECM8000 microphone which I want to connect to my sound card so I could measure my room’s frequency response. Do I need any other device between the mic and my soundcard? Or do I just connect the XLR output from the mic straight into the breakout cable provided with my soundcard?
