David gave the right answer, and I'll add this:

Nulls occur at predictable 1/4 wavelength distances (and 3/4 and 5/4 etc), but:

1) The arriving angle is a factor.

2) The response at any given point in a room is the sum of many reflections all arriving from different places.

There are programs that attempt to calculate all of the reflections, but for various reasons they are not highly accurate.
