All too often, people get "stuck" in a mindset. For example, "interior acoustical treatment is applied to the room surfaces".

It's refreshing to see an apparent amateur thinking outside the box, and in a good way.

Now, Bayside Bomber, what are you going to do with that 8" of ceiling joist space? ;) I know you can figure it out... you're a thinker!
