Thought I would show this since I haven't seen it done before. Here are a couple of pics of one that I made that are hung on the wall with picture hooks.I used an old mop stick as a dowel to cut 4 pieces 5.5" long. I then used a hole saw without the centering bit to drill about 2.5" in the oc board. Before inserting the dowel I applied some resin to the dowell, some into the hole and the then around the dowel once it was inserted. This turned out to be very sturdy and keeps the panel 3" off of the wall. See pic for the type of picture hooks I used. A felt pad was used on the lower dowell's
This panel is being used for the early reflections behind the sofa in my listening room and is quite large at 62" x 44" x 3".
