The first pic is the center of the ceiling,which is 12 feet high, the second is the ceiling and wall behind the listener. It is the upper wall the speakers fire toward. These (4) panels, following Risch DIY made a huge improvement! All for $80!! I want to thank my wife for her help making them and her off the chart WAF! What improved sound-wise is the HF mono info. Much clearer and succinct. Image depth increased. Stereo image got wider and more coherent. Bass, especially the lowest octaves improved a lot. Small details in recordings like Michael McDonalds vocal part in "Babylon Sister" became easier to hear. I strongly recommend anyone with a cathedral ceiling to do this tweak. Thanks to Ethan Winer and David Aiken for encouraging this in posts here on Rives forum. Now it's time to listen more! Don't forget to tweak the room! Thanks again - WOW!
