In your post you said:
"Here's what Olive and Toole say in their paper:
"Real listening rooms are not anechoic, nor is there likely to be only one significant reflection. The next logical step in this progression of experiments is to examine the audibility of a 'target' reflection in the presence of increasing amounts of room reflections. We have chosen to use a lateral reflection as a test signal. This can be interpreted as a single component of a room sound field, or as a cross-channel delayed component in a stereo or surround-sound system.""
You yourself quoted Olive and Toole as saying "This can be interpreted as a single component of a room sound field, or as a cross-channel delayed component in a stereo or surround-sound system."
Now you say you can't find the passage.
Do I believe you when you quote them or do I believe you when say you can't find the passage? What's going on in the post where you don't want me to believe you? Iif I believe you when you say you're quoting them, what do I do with your last post? If I believe your last post, what do I believe about your quote?
It's reached the point where I can't believe you when it comes to asking those questions.
