Okay-so you say that if i like what I hear with a pillow behind my head-- the effect would be the same only better let's say, with an actual acoustic panel?
My friend loaned me a 3 inch thick 24" by 24" fiberglass panel coated with fabric- or I could use a couch pillow.
But I thought acoustic panels would somehow do 'special' things, no? They just absorb only over a much broader frequency spectrum-- is that correct? Otherwise no difference between a "fancy" panel and a thick pillow? Yes I know thatere are coated panels and all sorts of reflective/absorptive panels-- but I mean a 'standard' panel vs. a pillow or a thick fiberglass panel--- no difference except for efficacy and broadband freq. absorption?
