RT60 is a parameter based on the concept of a diffuse sound field, which does not exist in acoustically small rooms. In small rooms the sound field is strongly directional:

Gover et al., “Measurements of directional properties of reverberant sound fields in rooms using a spherical microphone array”, J. of Acoust. Soc. America 2004, vol. 116, no. 4, pt.1, p.2138

Further, in order to make RT60 measurements you need an omnidirectional sound source. If you use a directional loudspeaker you will not measure RT60, which is a room property, but something which is the result of the
reflections patterns and decays, which are not properties of the room but of the room and loudspeaker combination.
