Building new room, Rives test kit measuring room response without hooking to stereo system?

Hello,

I am the owner of the Rives Audio professional test kit and it has been great for my current use and for my buddies who have systems up and running. We are building a new house and I want to measure the in-room response of the new listening room to include RT60 times. Can I use the Rives Professional test kit with the Cara software or do I need a stand alone setup altogether? If so, what are the recommendations?

Obviously no stereo equipment will be in the room during the build up, hence the requirement to measure as I go through the different phases of my build-up.
