I recently moved into a new house. The listening room is about 15.5 x 8.5 x 24 ft. Great sound, overall. Almost no bass problems--except one: when I set up my large (Dunlavy SCIVa) speakers down toward the long-wall corners, I end up sitting right in the center of the room. So the bass rolls off quite evenly below 40hz, down by 16db at 20hz. If I move my seat back from the center toward the rear wall (to get away from the room's null point), I also have to move the speakers farther out from the corners, hence reducing bass reinforcement from the corners. These speakers have tremendous bass output, but how do I get to hear it?
