My side walls(28ft long) will each be splayed 8 deg.. where the side wall meets the rear wall(behind speakers) there will be a max of
4ft of empty space behind the side wall. I plan on using this empty space as a basstrap. 4ft should be good down to about 60HZ.. I
plan on having the opening of the trap opened to the full height(floor to cieling) of the room.
My question is, how wide should this opening be, from the rear wall, to have the greatest effect say down to 60hz?
My current thinking is about a 2ft wide opening.
Is this too much or should I go a little bit wider?
