I have read similiar things in many forums, look like junk to me. Sorry you spent alot of money on this stuff, the best, cheapest stuff I have found is from GIK Acoustics...also great customer service from the owner too.
You may be able to simply put some 703 fiberglass within the frames you already have, I am sure one of the "gurus" around here will offer more solid advice.
