Does plastic reflect bass

I am thinking of wrapping semi-rigid fibreglass in plastic as a bass trap. Plastic will ensure that no fibres escape. However, this won't work if plastic reflects bass. My intuition tells me that plastic won't reflect bass but does anybody know for sure? Certainly, wrapping plastic around my ears didn't stop much from coming through!!
