Is this normal?

Attached, please find an image of some measurements made in an untreated room. This is a room I've never used before for serious listening, untreated, minimally furnished, and the meter is at the usual listening position. Basically, I'm sizing up the room, trying to see how much potential it has. The different colored lines correspond to different measurements at slightly different locations--but all within a few inches of each other. This is measured with a RadioShack meter, C weighted, uncorrected. Speakers are Vandersteen 2ce Signature.

What's surprising is that I set the volume so that the reference pink noise track was at 70dB, so the bass in this room seems to be broadly elevated. It's also a bit surprising that it goes as low as it does, with meaningful output at 18 Hz (speakers are rated down to 29 hz, +/- 3dB). But I'm most surprised at the generally high output in the bass.
