Mid hi traps if front of bass traps

I built some mid/hi traps (on stands) for the first reflection points and I am adding some low bass and hi bass traps as well. My problem is I put the low bass about 2 feet out from the corner mounted horizontaly so its now 6 feet to where I can mount the hi bass trap. That spot is where my first relection point is. Can I put the hi bass trap on the wall and have the mid hi trap in front of it. There would be 3 to 4 inches of space between them.
Also is it OK to put the traps on the front wall?
My room is 13.5 x 18.5 x 10
