Hey guys, seeking your opinion here. Just moved into a condo, and because of my sinister cats, the system NEEDS to be in the bedroom so the buggers don't have access to wires, cords, cones, etc.
Anyway the bedroom measures 11'6"H, 10'6"W, and 18'L. As you can see from the picture, the entire 'front wall' is a glass window covered with a thin curtain, for which we're looking to add a thicker 'sheer' (which I told the lady would make the room darker at night and help us sleep) to improve the absorption of some reflections.
The front end of the room has a HORRIBLE flutter. I'm having a local handy guy help build 703 based panels for the side walls behind the speakers.
At the moment I have four GiK 244, they are staggered across the corner on the floor.. On Ethan's site, one option is to stagger across a corner, another is to lay traps flat on either side of the corner. Would I be better served with the configuration is it is (or with 1 across the corner), or by having two aligned vertically on the side wall butted up against the window?
Also, I was thinking of using Roxul SturdiRock (http://www.roxul.com/industrial/products/roxul+sturdirock%C2%AE) wrapped in fabric upright in the corners. I have room across the floor in front of the room that I could place a 9-10" dia tube.
Thoughts/feedback?
Steve
