Trio A-100 vs. HCA-2.............

Does anyone here know if the Trio would be a step up from my HCA-2. I'm currently using the HCA-2 with an Eastern Electric Mini Max pre to drive Apogee Stages and am really happy with the sound and was wondering if the switch would be worth it? Thanks in advance for any advice.
